Afghanistan National Liberty Party Rejects Coalition, Stands for Justice and Equality

Date:

The Afghanistan National Liberty Party (ANLP) has decided not to join the National Coalition for the Salvation of Afghanistan. While the party’s leadership expressed respect for the coalition’s members and their efforts, they cited differences in political vision and approach as the primary reason for this decision.

In a press release to Rasad News, the ANLP emphasized its unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and citizen-centric political system that ensures the active participation of all social groups and ethnic communities in shaping Afghanistan’s future. Highlighting its guiding principles, the party reaffirmed its rejection of the instrumental use of religion, all forms of discrimination, and extremism. It reiterated its dedication to meritocracy, freedom, and fundamental rights for all citizens.

The ANLP underscored the crucial role of Afghanistan’s youth, women, scholars, unsung mujahideen, former military personnel, intellectuals, and local elders in driving meaningful change. It emphasized the importance of these active societal segments in building a just, democratic, and prosperous nation.

While respecting the efforts of the “National Coalition for the Salvation of Afghanistan,” the party stated that preserving its political independence was essential to advancing initiatives aligned with its core values. According to the ANLP, this decision reflects its commitment to creating new coalitions prioritizing democracy, justice, and equal rights for all citizens.

The Afghanistan National Liberty Party reiterated its dedication to representing all citizens, regardless of background, as it strives for a future free from discrimination, prejudice, extremism, and corruption. The party invited all Afghans to join its efforts in building a nation where everyone feels a sense of ownership, freedom, and dignity.

The ANLP’s decision marks a pivotal moment in Afghanistan’s political landscape as the country grapples with complex challenges and the urgent need for unity and inclusive governance.
